Bush Wears John Wayne's Hat For Speech

BUSH TO SADDAM: GET OUT OF TOWN
Text of Bush's Speech:
- My fellow citizens. We are at The Final Days of Decision. I say that in Capital Letters because this is Historical. It is Biblical. And I know you understand me better if I speak this way.
We wanted Iraq to Disarm Without War, though we wouldn't promise not to invade if they disarmed.
My Daddy could've taken 'em in '91, but the Saudis told us not to. And we had to listen, 'cause they were part of the Great Coalition. Now they're not. It is us and Britain and England and Spain and Bulgaria, the Coalition of the Willing.
Now we can go All The Way.
Intelligence gathered by this and other governments, forged when necessary, leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised. We can't prove it, nor can we tell the inspectors where these weapons are. Nonetheless, It Is So.
The regime has a history of reckless aggression in the Middle East. One minute they're attacking Iran with Our Blessing, the next minute they're attacking Kuwait, when all we gave them was Mixed Signals. I don't care what you remember, we did not give them the Green Light to do that. Honest.
     The Danger Is Clear.
And before the Day Of Horror can come, before it is Too Late To Act, this danger will be removed.
We will Restore Democracy To Iraq as we restored it to Kuwait.
Now let me be clear about this: America tried to work with the United Nations, but they didn't agree with us.
They dropped the ball. They blinked. They punted. They struck out.
Also, this is not about oil. We have oil in Alaska. I know gas is now over two dollars a gallon. My aides keep me informed. I am asking you to weather this storm. Pay three dollars a gallon if necessary. Put oil out of your mind.
Come on, you can do it. Put oil out of you mind now.
     Good.
This is about security. Our security. And the troops. We must support the troops.
Now all the Decades Of Deceit And Cruelty have now reached an end.
Saddam Hussein and his sons must get out of town within 48 hours. Their refusal to do so will result in a gunfight.
Goodnight, and God Bless America more than anyone else.
