BUSH VOWS TO "WIN THIS ONE FOR MISTER ROGERS!" "Let's Make This A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood" Houston, TX - (GNS) - President Bush vowed to "win this one for Mister Rogers" during a speech before the National News Cooperation With Censorship banquet last night. "Mr. Rogers wanted a peaceful neighborhood. We all want a peaceful neighborhood. But the evildoers like Saddam Hussein don't want a peaceful neighborhood. They're bad and we must fight them. Fight, fight, fight. So let's make this a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Let's win this one for Mister Rogers!," Bush said. Attendees, all wearing sweaters in honor of Rogers, stood and applauded the president's remarks. The Pentagon reported all U.S. troops in the war region would be issued a Mister Rogers patch to wear on their shoulders. |
